Safety and Buildings Division Information on Scheduling Plan Reviews

  • Online scheduling of commercial buildings plan review appointments
    You need to allow pop-ups to use this application. It runs in a seperate window. Note: This application does not support the submittal of revisions to existing approved plans. Such plans require submission using the SBD-118 form only.
    Here's where to direct questions about plan review:

  • The Safety and Buildings Division exclusively uses online scheduling for setting up plan reviews for commercial buildings projects.   Submitters who wish to drop off unscheduled plans at one of the division plan review offices will have those plans scheduled to the next available reviewer.
  • You may also use our toll free number to fax scheduling requests of plumbing, pools, and revised commercial buildings reviews:: 877-840-9172.   Fax your review application to us. Plumbing submitters must use our new form http://commerce.wi.gov/SB/SB-DivForms.html.  Please indicate on your request whether you want the next available review statewide or prefer to wait for the next available review in the office of your choice. Also, let us know the date the plans will be in our office.

NEXT AVAILABLE REVIEW DATE PER OFFICE

When this was updated we had approximately 4 appointment requests waiting in line to be scheduled via FAX.   If you are scheduling a building or HVAC please consider using our Web Scheduler.  Building and HVAC plans scheduled through Web Scheduler are given first priority by scheduling staff.  Scheduling staff in any of our offices can help you the first time you use it.
