The Apartment Association of South Central Wisconsin will host its annual Trade Show at the Madison Marriot West on Thursday, January 25, 2007. WIFrontDoor www.wifrontdoorhousing.org will have a display at the show with information for property managers and landlords.

Currently over 5,000 properties are listed on the website and Commerce staff are constantly pursuing new managers and landlords to list their properties on the website to widen prospective tenants search options for affordable housing.

WIFrontDoor expands the use of its Decision Tree Search Module
There have been several notable changes in the 2006-2007 Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG), Transitional Housing Program (THP) and the Homelessness Prevention Program (HPP) grant contracts that relate to Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). One of these changes to the grant compliance requirements was the addition on requiring agencies to update their Decision Tree Module information. Funded agencies were sent instructions with their ESG, THP and HPP grant contracts to update their agency's contact information in ServicePoint™ and to fill out the Decision Tree Module in WIFrontDoor.

Updating the Decision Tree search feature allows individuals who are in need of assistance under the following six categories to search for providing agencies in their area on the statewide level: Abuse, Neglect, and Violence Resources; Addiction Disorder Resource; Counseling; Food and Meals; Legal Services Shelter and Housing are the six search modules currently supported on www.wifrontdoor.org.
