Commercial Building Code Class in Milwaukee

The Safety and Buildings (S & B) Division will be presenting a comprehensive Commercial Building Code class January - July 2007 in Milwaukee. Participants successfully completing the class will have the opportunity to take the S&B Commercial Buildings Inspector exam.

Classes will be held 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every other Tuesday beginning January 9, 2007 at the City of Milwaukee Anderson Building 4001 South 6th Street (lunches not included). The fee is $240. The classes will be recorded for future use via the S&B website.

Topics include: Use and Occupancy, Construction Types, Height and Area, Fire-Resistive Construction, Energy, Fuel Gas , Mechanical, Egress, Structural Fire protection Systems, Accessibility, Interior Finishes, Interior Environment, Exterior Wall, Roof, Plastic, Electrical, Plumbing, Elevators, and more.
