The newest permit available from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Air Program is the "Registration Permit". The DNR will continue to accept public comment on a draft Registration Permit during October. Once the Registration Permit is issued, businesses can begin to apply for coverage under the permit.

Before applying for coverage there are things applicants should know. To better understand what it means to be covered by a Registration Permit, the DNR is collaborating with Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC) and Department of Commerce Small Business Clean Air Assistance Program (SBCAAP) to hold informational workshops throughout the state.

The next full-day workshop is scheduled for October 12 in Wisconsin Dells.

A registration fee of $30 will be charged to cover the cost of food and printed materials. To pre-register for the workshops contact the DNR (see contact and phone number below). A detailed agenda and specific locations can be found on the SBCAAP Events page.
