The Bureau of Supportive Housing will provide a training session for the 2006-2007 Emergency Shelter Grant/Transitional Housing/Homelessness Prevention Programs (ESG/THP/HPP) application on Friday, January 13, 2006. It will be a full day of training held at Comfort Inn, 4822 East Washington Avenue, Madison. 

It is very important for those agencies and Continua that intend to apply for these funds to attend the training.  For the first time, as a part of this combined grant application process, Commerce will be offering $1.4 million (in addition to the $2.3 million ESG and THP funds) to assist agencies in the prevention of homelessness.  Agencies will receive two bonus points in the review process if they send a representative to this training.
