Governor
Appoints New Minority Business Development Board Members
Governor Doyle recently appointed the following new members to the MBD Board: Ravi Kalla is President/CEO of Symphony Corporation in Madison. Symphony Corporation provides IT services to the financial, healthcare and insurance industries. Charles V. Vang owns Charles Vang Insurance Agency in Milwaukee. He is co-founder and Board President of Hmong Chamber of Commerce, Inc. Winnifred Thomas is the owner of W T Creations in Seymour. Willie Johnson Jr. was elected 13th District Supervisor and serves on the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors. Prior to this he worked for the Milwaukee County Department of Human Services-financial Assistance Division and Child Welfare Division. Dina C. Knibbs is Director of Espiritu de Esperanza and works part-time at the University of Wisconsin teaching nutrition, parenting, and budgeting to mainly Latino families. These members join John William Cadotte who has served on the Minority Business Development Board since 1989. -- Shelly Harkins |
