Tim Griswold, Commerce's Executive Director of Dairy 2020, has been named as this year's "Friend of the County Agent" by the Wisconsin Association of County Agricultural Agents (WACAA) for his outstanding support of UW-Extension programs and county agricultural agents. The award is presented annually to individuals, organizations, and agribusinesses for their ongoing support of UW-Extension Agriculture/Agribusiness education programs.
WACAA is a professional organization for county and area Extension
agents maintaining membership in the National Association of County
Agricultural Agents (NACAA). The objectives of the association
are to:

encourage excellence and professionalism by county and area Extension agents;

improve effectiveness of Extension programs;

provide assistance for agents to seek and participate in professional improvement opportunities;

recognize and promote superior achievement;

provide opportunities for exchange of program ideas
