Housing Sponsors Case Management Workshops
Case management is widely used to help people who are in homeless situations achieve greater stability in their lives. The Bureau of Housing is sponsoring a series of two-day workshops this summer that will give participants a chance to acquire skills and knowledge in case management, and will demonstrate the way the Case Management feature in ServicePoint can be used in planning and service delivery. Jim Winship, Ph D, Associate Professor of Social Work at UW-Whitewater and author of the recently published workbook Moving Forward: Homeless Case Management Using ServicePoint, will provide the training. Participants attending both days of the workshop will earn 1.2 CEUs. Class size is limited, so early registration is recommended. Dates and locations for the workshops are:
