Expand Housing Opportunities for More State Residents
Eligible CDBG applicants (non-entitlement cites, towns, counties and villages) may now apply for up to $200,000 in Special Housing Project funds to create new affordable housing units for Low to Moderate Income (LMI) households. This year $750,000 has been earmarked for such projects, and applications are accepted on a continual basis. Local units of government interested in learning more about the CDBG Housing funds or the CDBG Special Housing Project program may contact Caryn Stone, CDBG Program Manager, at (608) 267-3682 or cstone@commerce.state.wi.us. --Barbro McGinn |
