Storage Tank Program - Comm 10 Material Approvals

The Wisconsin Administrative Code Comm 10 - Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code requires certain system components, concepts and methodologies to have Department of Commerce Material Approval prior to being incorporated into the system design or use.

Application for Commerce Comm 10 Material Approval can be obtained by completing and submitting the formal Material Approval Application. Please note that the Comm 10 Material Approval application form and the review process is significantly different than the Commerce Safety and Buildings Material Approval application form and process utilized for regulatory building and structure purposes.

The following list contains links to material approval documents in Adobe .pdf format. Material Approvals have a three year life at which time they must be updated and renewed. Current approvals are listed by five seperate classifications. Expired Approvals are not seperated by classification. These material approvals are for information only, signed copies are available from the manufacturers or Department of Commerce upon request.

NOTE ON PRINTING: The documents are converted to .pdf format to improve web compatibility. When printing the documents, use the print icon associated with the embedded pdf page, not the print icon on the browser tool bar. The icon for the pdf embedded page generally appears near the left side of the screen just above the document display.
