Manufactured Housing Rehabilitation and Recycling Program (MHRR)

The Manufactured Housing Rehabilitation & Recycling (MHRR) program was created in 2008 by the Governor and the Wisconsin Legislature.  The State funds the program through fees collected from the titling of manufactured homes.  The funds may be used to provide housing assistance to eligible households needing to make critical repairs to their home or to assist municipalities and others to dispose of abandoned manufactured homes in an environmentally sound manner.
ELIGIBILITY

Eligible applicants for funding under the MHRR program are nonprofit organizations that are identified as tax exempt under section 501 (a) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Households receiving assistance to repair their primary residence must have gross incomes at or below 80% of the County Median Income (CMI) adjusted for family size.
