IMPORTANT: As of July 1st, 2011, functions once performed by the Wisconsin Department of Commerce have been moved to other state agencies and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. The former Commerce web site will continue to exist for the next several months as resources are moved to new web site locations. We will make every attempt possible to direct our users to the new locations as web resources are moved.

Wisconsin Diesel Exhaust Retrofit Grant

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded the Wisconsin Department of Commerce a $50,000 grant to assist motor carriers in the procurement of EPA and/or California Air Resources Board verified retrofit technologies.   

Funding is no longer available.

 Project Period: 2007 - 2009

The following Wisconsin motor carriers received grants to install diesel exhaust retrofit technologies:

  1. Wangerin Trucking, Marinette, WI.
    Funding was used to purchase eight Diesel Oxidation Catalysts.

  2. Gundrum Trucking, Slinger, WI.
    Funding was used to purchase six Diesel Oxidation Catalysts and one Auxiliary Power Unit.
     
  3. W & A Distribution Services, Fort Atkinson, WI.
    Funding was used to purchase four Diesel Oxidation Catalysts and two Partial Continuously Regenerating Technologies.
