S&B Explosive Materials Program

 The Safety and Buildings Division establishes and enforces minimum safeguards to life, health, and property as they relate to explosive materials. S&B administers credentials for blasters. Consultation and inspections are made with respect to the manufacture, use, storage, handling, and interstate transportation of explosive materials.
