Automatic Fire Sprinkler Contractor - Maintenance

Pass an exam.

Automatic Fire Sprinkler Contractors

Pass an exam. Must show 1000 hours experience for 3 years as a licensed journeyman sprinkler fitter or have a degree in civil or mechanical engineering or other sprinkler-related curriculum or show 1000 hours experience for 7 years in sprinkler design or installation (can substitute 3 years full-time schooling for experience) or hold Level III certification in sprinkler layout from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies.

Automatic Fire Sprinkler Fitter - Maintenance

Application and fee.

Automatic Fire Sprinkler System Apprentice

Must be indentured in approved fire sprinkler apprenticeship.

Automatic Fire Sprinkler System Tester

Pass an exam.

Beginning Electrician

Application and fee.

Blaster, Class 1

Pass an exam. Must be 21 years old. Must submit proof of 640 hours experience under a Class 1 blaster.

Blaster, Class 2

Pass an exam. Must be 21 years old. Must submit proof of 640 hours experience under a Class 2 blaster.

Blaster, Class 3

Pass an exam. Must be 21 years old. Must submit proof of 640 hours experience under a Class 3 blaster.

Blaster, Class 4

Pass an exam. Must be 21 years old. Must submit proof of 640 hours experience under a Class 4, 5 or 6 blaster.

Blaster, Class 5

Pass an exam. Must be 21 years old. Must submit proof of 640 hours experience under a Class 5 blaster.

Blaster, Class 6

Pass an exam. Must be 21 years old. Must submit proof of 1000 hours experience under a Class 6 blaster.

Blaster, Class 7

Pass an exam. Must be 21 years old. Must submit proof of 2000 hours experience under a Class 7 blaster.

Boiler - Pressure Vessel Inspector

Shall have a passed competency exam by National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors and an engineering degree with 1000 hours for 1 year experience or an associate degree in mechanical technology with 1000 hours experience for 2 years or 1000 hours experience for 3 years.

Boiler Repairers

No new licenses being issued.

Commercial Building Inspector

Pass an exam.

Commercial Electrical Inspector

Pass an exam. Must show 1000 hours experience for 6 years (can substitute 3 years full-time schooling for experience) or 1000 hours for 3 years and a degree in electrical engineering or 1000 hours for 3 years and is a professional engineer, architect, or designer or you can currently hold a master electrician license.

Cross Connection Control Testers

Shall have completed 40 hours of approved training.

Dwelling Contractor Financial Responsibility

Must comply with Worker's Compensation and Unemployment Compensation requirements and submit a certificate of insurance showing general liability coverage of $250,000 per occurrence or a bond made out to the State of at least $25,000.

Dwelling Contractor Financial Responsibility-Restricted

Must comply with Worker's Compensation and Unemployment Compensation requirements and submit a bond made out to the State of at least $5,000 to $25,000.

Electrical Contractors

Must be a state-licensed master electrician or employ one.

Electrical Contractors - Restricted

Shall hold or have held a license to do electrical construction in one or more municipalities as of the date the municipality required state certification.

Elevator Inspector

Pass an exam or hold certification from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Fireworks Manufacturers

Shall hold a federal license issued under 18 USC chapter 40 section 843.

HVAC Contractor

Application and fee.

HVAC Qualifiers

Pass an exam. Must show 1000 hours experience for 4 years or have 4 years full-time schooling in HVAC-related program or any combination of the two for 4 years.

Journeyman Automatic Fire Sprinkler Fitter

Pass an exam. Must have completed a sprinkler apprenticeship.

Journeyman Electrician

Pass an exam. Must show 1000 hours experience in electrical construction work for 5 years. Can substitute 2 years of full-time schooling in electrical-related program for experience years. Other method is to complete an electrical construction apprenticeship.

Journeyman Plumber

Pass an exam. Shall have completed a plumbing apprenticeship program.

Journeyman Plumber - Restricted Appliance

Pass an exam or have retiree license. Must have 1000 hours experience as a registered learner and have completed approved course work.

Journeyman Plumber - Restricted Service

Pass an exam or have retiree license. Must have 1000 hours experience as a registered learner and have completed approved course work.

Manufactured Home and Mobile Home Sellers

Application and fee.

Manufactured Home Dealer License

Application, financial statement/bond, fees, and at least one salesperson.

Manufactured Home Park

Application and fees. New Parks: include plans, if required, and required water samples.

Manufactured Home Salesperson Application and fees. Must be with a dealer.

Master Electrician

Pass an exam. Must show 1000 hours experience in electrical construction work for 7 years. Can substitute 3 years of full-time schooling in electrical-related program for experience years.

Master Plumber

Pass an exam or have a retiree license. Must show 1000 hours experience for 3 consecutive years as licensed journeyman plumber or have a civil or mechanical engineering degree or other degree related to plumbing.

Master Plumber - Restricted Appliance

Pass an exam or have a retiree license. Must show 1000 hours experience for 2 consecutive years as licensed journeyman plumber-restricted appliance.

Master Plumber - Restricted Service

Pass an exam or have a retiree license. Must show 1000 hours experience for 2 consecutive years as licensed journeyman plumber-restricted service.

PECFA Consultants

Must have or be covered by professional liability coverage of no less than $1,000,000 per claim with deductible of no more than $100,000 per claim.

PECFA Consulting Firms

Must have professional liability coverage of no less than $1,000,000 per claim with deductible of no more than $100,000 per claim.

Pipelayers

Must be at least 18 years old.

Plumbing Apprentice

Shall be indentured in a plumbing apprenticeship.

Plumbing Learner - Restricted Appliance

Must be at least 16 years old and show proof of graduating from the 12th grade.

Plumbing Learner - Restricted Service

Must be at least 16 years old and show proof of graduating from the 12th grade.

POWTS Inspector

Pass an exam.

POWTS Maintainer

Must have completed 6 hours training in approved course or have 60 hours experience as an MP, JP, MPRS, or JPRS installing POWTS treatment and dispersal components that involve sand filters, effluent pumps and switches, alarms and floats, active filtration devices, valves and solenoids for distributing effluent, and aerobic treatment units.

Refrigerant Handling Technician

Must have EPA card issued per 40 CFR part 82.161, Subpart F.

Rental Weatherization Inspector

Pass an exam.

Site Assessors

Pass an exam.

Soil Erosion Inspector

Must have completed an approved training course.

Soil Tester

Pass an exam. Must be at least 18 years old.

Tank Specialty Firms

Application and fee.

Tank System Inspector

Pass an exam and shall have completed approved training program.

Tank System Liners

Tank System Removers and Cleaners

Underground Tank System Installers

Pass an exam.

Utility Contractor

Pass an exam. Must be at least 18 years old.

Weld Test Conductor

Pass an exam.

Welder Registration

Must submit an Evidence of Completion of Weld Test form from a test within the past year with application and fee.
