Governor Doyle Announces Tax Credits for Simply Manufacturing, Inc.

Project to Create 13 Jobs

MADISON - Governor Jim Doyle announced today that Simply Manufacturing, Inc., Prairie du Sac, Sauk County, will receive $65,000 in tax credits from the Economic Development Tax Credit Program from the Department of Commerce to purchase and renovate a facility in Prairie du Sac.

"One of my top priorities is to help move companies and communities forward and create good-paying jobs for our citizens," said Governor Doyle. "I'm pleased that we could assist Simply Manufacturing, Inc. in bringing new jobs to Sauk County."

Simply Manufacturing, Inc. specializes in manufacturing stainless steel components for meat-processing and food-service industries. The company will purchase a 34,000-sq-ft. facility. The new building will allow the company to expand, create 13 positions over the next three years, and retain 15 positions. Total project cost is $1.785 million.
