Project to create 22 jobs

MADISON - Governor Jim Doyle today announced that Winona Production Services Inc., Sturtevant, Racine County, will receive $100,000 in Enterprise Development Zone tax credits for an expansion project.

"One of my top priorities is to help move industries, companies, and communities forward and create good-paying jobs for our citizens," said Governor Doyle. "I'm pleased that Winona Production Services has chosen to expand in Wisconsin, and that we could assist the company in bringing new jobs to Racine County."

Winona Production Services Inc. is a full-service machine shop. The company builds tools for foundry tooling processes and specializes in one-of-a-kind tooling. Winona Production Services plans to purchase and renovate a facility in Sturtevant, which will house all its operations and employees. Total project cost is $700,000. The project is expected to create 22 jobs.
