Creating and Writing a Compliance Manual
On Monday, December 1, the Milwaukee World Trade Association (MWTA) Compliance Committee, in conjunction with the Center for Global Education and Trade at Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC), will host a Roundtable Discussion regarding how to develop an export compliance policy and manual.  The discussion will include how to obtain upper management commitment for a compliance policy, how to review your company's procedures and processes with respect to export compliance, and how to create and implement a manual.

Discussion leaders include speakers from Cooper Power Systems and Johnson Diversey.  Questions will be welcome as the roundtable format is designed to foster discussion of practical situations, rather than presentations by speakers.

The roundtable will be held at WCTC's Richard T. Anderson Education Center, Monday, December 1, 2008, 7:45 am to 10:30 am.  The registration fee is $25.  Continental breakfast will be served.  A map to the campus is available at http://www.wctc.edu/web/about/maps/pewaukee.htm.  To register or get more information, please call Ms. Aleda Bourassa (262) 691-5219.
