Localization World Comes to Madison
Localization World Conference Logo Madison will host this year's Localization World Conference which covers a wide range of issues related to translation and localization.  Localization World Madison will include presentations as well as networking opportunities for both beginners and experienced professionals involved in adapting products, services, or communications to an international language or culture to make content appear native to that particular region. Programs and exhibits are directed to both the customer side and service side.  Conference sessions are geared towards professionals seeking to learn about new tools, methods, and business practices across a variety of media.  Exhibitors will be present to provide information about products and services to all levels of attendees.

“While many people think of localization as just translation, translation is really just the most visible part of the process,” says Donna Parrish, publisher of MultiLingual magazine and one of the organizers of Localization World. “Localization World brings together the thought leaders in the industry as well as the best products and services all under one roof. It provides a great opportunity for product managers and executives to build a business strategy for selling and marketing into new countries.”

This year’s event will be held at Monona Terrace in Madison, October 13 – 14.  Previous editions of Localization World have taken place in Berlin, Montreal, Shanghai, Seattle, and Bonn.  The full agenda and registration information is available at http://www.localizationworld.com.
