Chinese Dairy Feed Ingredient Buyers to Meet Wisconsin Companies
By Dan Vogel, Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection
Wisconsin feed producers interested in exporting to China can now register for one-on-one sales meetings with pre-qualified Chinese feed buyers. Meetings will take place at the 2008 World Dairy Expo in Madison, September 30–October 4. During the meetings, Wisconsin feed manufacturers and suppliers will gain direct feedback on their product's potential, build relationships with the country's top buyers and have the prospect of immediate sales.  The Chinese buyers have expressed special interest in anti-microbials, dairy animal nutritional supplements, dried distillers grains, milk replacers, pre-mix feeds, hay and yeast.

The Wisconsin International Trade Team is coordinating the Feed Buyers' mission in conjunction with Food Export Association of the Midwest. Registration costs are $75.  For more information and to schedule a meeting, contact Mr. Dan Vogel, International Marketing Consultant at the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection,  dan.vogel@wisconsin.gov, ph: (608) 224-5113.  For details about World Dairy Expo 2008 visit http://www.worlddairyexpo.com.
