China Regional Airport Conference
By Winnie Wang, Wisconsin Trade Office in China
As part of the 9th Western China International Economy & Trade Fair, the China Regional Airport Conference will be held May 20 - 21, 2008, at the Homeland Hotel, Chengdu, Sichuan. This event is supported by China Civil Airports Association (CCAA) which represents 96 airports in China, National Development & Reform Commission, Sichuan Provincial Government, and the Civil Aviation Administration of China - Southwest Administration. The conference will be organized as a networking platform for airports, airport planners, safety management providers, airport solution providers and consulting companies to discuss the key strategies for airport operations and management and the future growth opportunities in China’s regional airport industry.

The conference and its exhibition component provide a great platform for the promotion of airport-related products. Past participants have developed highly effective market entry strategies and a solid contact base. U.S. firms can participate by walking the show or exhibiting with a full booth or by catalog. There are additional sponsorship opportunities as well. For more information on the conference and exhibition, please contact Commerce’s Asia Specialist, Ms. Beng Yeap, beng.yeap@wisconsin.gov, ph: (608) 266-1480.
