Changes in Plumbing Code Go Green Plumbing is going green in Wisconsin. Since 2004, the Wisconsin Uniform Plumbing Code has allowed the reuse of graywater and the use of stormwater in plumbing systems. Now, a March 2009 revision in the plumbing code permits the reuse of blackwater for certain applications. Wisconsin has over 50 approved reuse or stormwater use systems, and interest in these systems has increased. -- Lynita Docken |
