Petroleum and Motor Fuel Complaints Learn how to file a complaint regarding petroleum and motor fuel. If you have a complaint regarding the quantity of fuel delivered or dispensed or the advertising, price or signage of fuel, you may file a complaint with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade & Consumer Protection. If you have a complaint relating to what you believe is bad motor vehicle fuel, bad heating oil, the labeling of fuel or faulty fuel dispensing equipment or fire safety equipment at a motor fuel dispensing facility, you may file a complaint with the Wisconsin Department of Commerce. When registering a complaint, you must be the responsible party for the vehicle or fuel purchase for which you are filing a product complaint. -- Tony Hozeny
