Community/Processing Incubator Kitchen Meeting

If you're interested in starting a shared kitchen processing facility or kitchen incubator in your area, please join the Agricultural Innovation Center at UW-Extension for a workshop on Tuesday, February 24th from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Sauk County UW-Extension Building in Baraboo.

Mary Pat Carlson, Executive Director of the Farm Market Kitchen in Algoma, and Dave Loomis, Director of the Coulee Region Business Center in La Crosse, will present a day long session for community leaders interested in establishing an incubator kitchen in their own area. During this interactive session, participants will learn more about existing community incubator kitchens in Wisconsin and discuss the elements necessary to establish and support a new incubator in their own region.

Attendance at the meeting is free but pre-registration is required. Lunch will be provided. Space is limited.

For more information and to register, please contact Anne Pfeiffer, UW-Extension Agricultural Innovation Center, 608-890-1905 or anne.pfeiffer@ces.uwex.edu.
