IMPORTANT: As of July 1st, 2011, functions once performed by the Wisconsin Department of Commerce have been moved to other state agencies and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. The former Commerce web site will continue to exist for the next several months as resources are moved to new web site locations. Call for Applications for the Marketplace 2008 Minority Business Awards

High-performing minority businesses will not want to miss the opportunity to apply for recognition as a 2008 minority business of the year. The Bureau of Minority Business Development of the WI Department of Commerce will present awards in three categories:

  1. Outstanding Minority Business Award
  2. Rising Star Award
  3. Good Citizen Award

Visit the Marketplace 2008 website to learn more about the individual award criteria and the Marketplace 2008 Governor's Conference on Minority Business Development that will be held on October 1-2, 2008 at the Wyndam Milwaukee Convention Center in Milwaukee.

Application deadline is Monday, August 11, 2008.
