China's New National Public Holidays

The Chinese government officially shortened one of the country's three "Golden Week" holidays and has recognized three traditional holidays as new official one-day public holidays. The new national public holidays are Tomb-Sweeping (Memorial) Day, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival. The dates of some holidays have been adjusted so that the holiday period can extend into the following weekend.
