IMPORTANT: As of July 1st, 2011, functions once performed by the Wisconsin Department of Commerce have been moved to other state agencies and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. The former Commerce web site will continue to exist for the next several months as resources are moved to new web site locations. Community Development Block Grant Housing Applications Now Online

The Wisconsin Department of Commerce is pleased to announce the release of the 2008 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Housing Preliminary Application form. The form is available for download through the CDBG Housing website at http://commerce.wi.gov/CD/cd-boh-cdbg.html . These grants are available to units of general local government for the purpose of housing rehabilitation, home buyer assistance and limited neighborhood improvements. The preliminary application must be submitted to the Division of Housing and Community Development no later than May 12, 2008.
