Small Business Clean Air Assistance Program

Environmental Results Programs (ERP) in Wisconsin

The SBCAAP has worked with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and industry representatives to develop an ERP for printers in Wisconsin and is in the process of developing an ERP for autobody refinishing shops with surrounding states.  Learn more about Wisconsin's ERP projects here.

What is ERP?

An ERP combines plain-language materials and compliance assistance with performance measurement and self-certification to help businesses understand their requirements and improve their environmental performance.  There are a number of states adopting ERPs for different business sectors.  You can learn more about ERP development nationally by going to http://erpstates.org or the ERP roadmap at EPA's web site.
