IMPORTANT: As of July 1st, 2011, functions once performed by the Wisconsin Department of Commerce have been moved to other state agencies and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. The former Commerce web site will continue to exist for the next several months as resources are moved to new web site locations. Regulatory Alert Email Subscription Services
The Regulatory Alert will provide you with updates on state administrative that are announced for public hearing and open for public comment. The Regulatory Alert will provide instructions on how to access the proposed rule and how to provide electronic comments in lieu of attending a public hearing. Comments submitted to the agency can address any economic burdens or barriers that the proposed rules may have on business. Offering alternatives and suggestions that would be less restrictive to small business is encouraged. The Regulatory Alert also provides notification about rules that are in the preliminary stage of rule development (Scope Statement). Scope Statements provide advanced notification to small business that an agency is considering revising, repealing, recreating or admending a rule. The Regulatory Alert includes other information from state agencies that is considered "newsworthy" for small business.To subscribe, enter your email address and name/organization, then click "subscribe".
