Announcement
of Hearings
Child Care Providers -
The
Department of Workforce Development purposes a rule revision relating
to child care copayments that will impact certified child care
providers.
Bottomline:
This rule will eliminate the differential co-payment amounts
by increasing copayments for certified care to the same level as
copayments for licensed care. The copayment is based on family
size, family gross income, the number of children in a given family in
child care, and the type of child care selected, with exceptions.
The DWD has made the determination that this
rule will not have
a significant economic impact on small business as certified providers
can collect the increased copayments directly from the families.
Interested
persons can review the
Notice of Hearing or send comments electronically.
Comments and questions
regarding this rule can be sent to DWD's Regulatory
Coordinator
at elaine.pridgen@wisconsin.gov.
Comments will be accepted until April 11, 2008.
Employers
Paying Unemployment Insurance -
The
Department of Workforce Development purposes a rule revision relating
to agency disclosure and confidentiality procedures of unemployment insurance records.
Bottomline:
In response to federal direction, all states must amend their
rules concerning the confidentiality and disclosure requirements of an
employer's records related to the unemployment insurance program.
This rule outlines the conditions under which DWD will
disclose unemployment insurance records to claimants, employing units,
and authorized third parties. The rule includes
confidentiality safeguard requirements and the fees that will
be charged to those requesting unemployment insurance record information.
Interested
persons can review the
Notice of Hearing or send comments electronically.
Comments and questions
regarding this rule can be sent to DWD's Regulatory
Coordinator
at elaine.pridgen@wisconsin.gov.
Comments will be accepted until April 9, 2008.
