IMPORTANT: As of July 1st, 2011, functions once performed by the Wisconsin Department of Commerce have been moved to other state agencies and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. The former Commerce web site will continue to exist for the next several months as resources are moved to new web site locations. We will make every attempt possible to direct our users to the new locations as web resources are moved.

Small Business Clean Air Assistance Program

Region 5 States ERP

Important note! The Small Business Clean Air Assistance Program is moving. Beginning July 1, 2011, the SBCAAP will be located in Wisconsin's Department of Natural Resources. For the new address and phone numbers, see the Contact Information at the bottom of our program home page.

The SBCAAP is working with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) as well as the Small Business Environmental Assistance Programs in IL, IN, MI, MN and OH to develop an Environmental Results Program (ERP) for the autobody refinishing shops in these Region 5 states.

What is the Region 5 States ERP Project?

The region 5 states' Small Business Environmental Assistance Programs (SBEAPs) want to find out whether the ERP structure could be used to help EPA Region 5 and the states implement the NESHAP for Paint Stripping and Miscellaneous Surface Coating at Area Sources, specifically for the autobody refinishing shops affected by the rule.

Working Documents

These are working documents currently being shared among the region 5 states participating in the project as well as other states interested in learning about the project. It is not the intent that these documents be shared beyond the participating or learning states.  If you are interested in participating or learning about the ERP, please contact Renee Bashel as shown at the bottom of this page.  Unless a link is active below, the document name is just a placeholder for now.
